During the service, each person takes a Christingle and the candles are all lit to create a warm, magical glow symbolising the light of Christ and bringing hope to people living in darkness.
Christingles are made using oranges and with 4 cocktail sticks of sweets. . We light the candle at the end of the service to spread a magical glow around everyone.

St John the Baptist, Woodhurst

The parish of Woodhurst: St John the Baptist welcomes you. 

We have a family service, every third Sunday at 4 p.m, an evening service, every fourth Sunday at 6 p.m and mid-week communion, every second Thursday at 10 a.m.
