On Saturday 15th June 2024 at 10.30am a short talk will start the event on the challenges that climate change is presenting to us here in the churchyard and changes that we are noticing. The whole event will be from between 10.30am and 12pm with refreshments. We also want to know what might interest you or what questions you might have over what you see, and we are encouraging you to share any images you create with us, so we can answer your questions. There will of course be a focus on some different people buried there linking them to where they probably lived in the village such as the Meyer family. There are displays and leaflets available. We can confirm last years sitings of Swifts that have moved home from the North side of the church roof to the South side. But like everyone there has been some odd things happening to some of the trees after last years record temperatures and then the frost around Christmas.
