John gave a very interesting talk on the difficulties facing the Melanesia islands (Soloman Island, Vanuatu and New Caledonia) located in the South West Pacific.

Selwyn College, Cambridge is named after Bishop George Selwyn who founded the Melanesian Mission in 1849. Today they face challenges from climate change and logging, but support education and victims of abuse.
