St John the Evangelist

A warm welcome to St John’s! We are a diverse and inclusive Anglican parish church of all ages, spanning a number of Christian traditions. We try and avoid labelling: we prefer to express that we are followers of Jesus Christ, who seek to live out the good news of the Christian faith in the strength of the Holy Spirit.

A browse of our website will provide you with details of our Sunday services: our KidsChurch children’s community and Footsteps, our twice-weekly sessions for pre-school children and their parents and carers.
St John’s is a Christian community where we trust you can grow in faith, be free to express your doubts, pose challenging questions and experience the support of a loving and caring church family. Please do feel free to contact me if you have questions about life and faith or just need a listening space - my contact details are on the the website.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Waterbeach: St John is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Duty Messaging Service on 01353 652747. You can also contact our PSO Holli Bielby on [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
