The church itself has two fairly deep, stone steps to negotiate with the main entrance. However, if you follow the footpath around outside the church, there is a door ahead of you leading to level access with a ramp down into the church building.
Our Lay Minister is an Ambassador for the Dementia Friends section of the Alzheimer's Society and has received additional training in the care of those living with dementia. Other members of the congregation are familiar with caring for those with memory loss and we run a special "Memory Box Cafe" once a month for those with dementia and their carers
Our Building
The church is usually open most days for individual prayer between the hours of 10.00 am and 3.30 pm. If a funeral or similar midweek event is taking place then that could change briefly.
Music and Worship
We have a few people who enjoy ringing the bells. Practises are held on a Monday evening.
We have some musicians who form a small band from time-to-time. They would welcome new people to join them.
Groups, Courses and Activities
We have a group of young people who come together on a Sunday morning for their own activities or to join the adult congregation.
We are in the process of setting up a "Warm Hub" for the winter months in conjunction with Cambridgeshire Acre and South Cambs District Council
Two or three times a year we run a bereavement support group for those finding it hard to move on from a bereavement, whether recent or longer term. For more information email [email protected]
