All Saints, KirtlingBy 1251 there was a church in Kirtling. It is quite probable that an earlier church existed on the site, as Kirtling was a well-established estate by the time of the conquest. The church has many notable and interesting features, such as a Norman doorway and window, erpendicular and plain round arches with octagonal piers, many memorials, in particular to
the North family, and eight fine hatchments The church and churchyard are well cared for by parishioners, who do the cleaning, flower arranging, and grass cutting. Kirtling church is always open as a place for prayer and quiet reflection.
Due to a generous legacy, the church building is now being re-ordered to include a kitchen and toilet, new heating and a vestry for the clergy and choir.
The Friends of All Saints, Kirtling, hold an Annual gathering, and organise lectures and concerts in aid of the maintenance of this historic church.
One of the highlights of the year is the Christmas Concert, a seasonal concert of great merit, offered by the partnership choir.
