Lent Study evening at the pub: The Fall

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
King's Head Pub
Address
King's Head Pub, High Street, Fen Ditton

Nick will be leading the second of two Lent study evenings on Genesis chapter 3, 'The Fall: how Israel's story became our story': "I think the opening chapters of Genesis are like a Preface to the whole Bible. The whole story is there and the key to understanding it all is there too: and that means not just the story of Israel, but the whole human story - and, ultimately, our own individual story and meaning. It's all there!"

St Mary the Virgin, Fen Ditton

St Mary's Church stands close to the River Cam and is a much loved landmark for rowers, dogwalkers and others seeking refuge from the busy city.  Our parish includes the ancient village but also a good part of the urban development (built in old Ditton's fields) and all of the newest local development, Marleigh.  We have an active church community with services at 10.30am each Sunday, except the last Sunday of the month when we join with our sister churches in Teversham or Horningsea.  There are regular midweek study evenings and a coffee morning on alternate Wednesdays.
