A short service celebrating the Christmas story as we bring the characters to the crib and sing verses of favouite carols. Younger children and families are especially welcome to join us - an ideal outing for all the family if Christmas Eve afternoon is getting a bit over-exciting at home!

St Mary the Virgin, Fen Ditton

St Mary's Church stands close to the River Cam and is a much loved landmark for rowers, dogwalkers and others seeking refuge from the busy city.  Our parish includes the ancient village but also a good part of the urban development (built in old Ditton's fields) and all of the newest local development, Marleigh.  We have an active church community with services at 10.30am each Sunday, except the last Sunday of the month when we join with our sister churches in Teversham or Horningsea.  There are regular midweek study evenings and a coffee morning on alternate Wednesdays.
