At St Paul's we extend you a warm welcome to our weekly service.
We gather together around the Lord's Table, combining tradition and contemporary experience.
We have a weekly group for 4-11s and a youth group every other week.
There is an informal choir, we hear a wide range of hymns and songs, accompanied by the organ and piano. We are blessed with many instrumentalists who play too, from time to time.
We aim to inspire you to make connections between your daily life and the faith we explore together. Come and join us whether you are questioning, certain, new to faith, or a long time Christian.

St Paul's Church and Community Centre

St Paul's : a radical place of welcome and encounter.

We are a welcoming and informal community church. We would love to meet you and share with you the love we have received and long to share in Jesus Christ. We gather together every Sunday morning at 10.30am to hear about God's love in word and sacrament. We are much more than a Sunday gathering, as our vibrant and connected church is a busy community hub open every day of the week.  We express our love for God and one another in the sharing of regular meals. We have lunch clubs on Thursdays and Fridays at 12.30pm. We have a Monday Supper at 6pm each week which is a free meal. We have a variety of midweek prayer services. Whether you are looking to join a worshipping community or would just like to make some friends you are welcome to cross our threshold.

We are members of Inclusive Church and our vicar is happy to talk to any same-sex couple about use of the newly authorised prayers of love and faith to celebrate same-sex relationships.

We are a Silver Eco Award winner and an active eco church. We have a group working towards our Gold Award.

We are part of the Church of England and we are a parish church. We work in partnership with our local church school, St Paul's.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Cambridge: St Paul is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO - https://www.elydiocese.org/safeguarding.php

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO at [email protected] or ring the Parish Office (01223 576899) and ask for the Safeguarding Officer. The Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor line can be contacted on 01353 652747. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
