Ely Prayer Book Society – join us Thursday 13th July, where the Rev Fergus Butler-Gallie will give a talk entitled: 'Lighten Our Darkness: the Prayer Book as comfort and guide' at 6pm, St Botolph's Church, Trumpington Street. The author of 3 bestselling books, most recently 'Touching Cloth', Fergus’ memoir of his time as a young priest; is also one of Anglicanism's funniest writers and thinker. There will be said BCP Evening Prayer at 5.30pm immediately before, for anyone who wishes to join. Sherry and cake will be provided afterwards.'
