Calcutta Night

1. An evening fundraising event for the Calcutta Cathedral Relief Service (CRS) one of LSMs’ particular overseas causes – to follow on from Whitsun Evensong at LSM at 6pm: come to both!

2. £17 per person, to include Indian finger-foods, wine, beer and soft drinks.

3. As well as food and good company, for 30-40 minutes we will hear readings from the travel journal made by Neil Swan on his recent visit to the CRS work at Calcutta Cathedral, and a presentation from LSM pastoral assistant Peter Banks on his experiences on the same visit on behalf of LSM: both will be giving us accounts of the remarkable work of the CRS and the personalities involved in the work to support the poor and needy. They will be both be happy to answer questions about CRS.

4. There will also be a raffle. Help us raise further funds for the great work of CRS, and what better evening to gather in the Parish Rooms for an informal supper with LSM friends and families than Pentecost itself.
