This year, Ash Wednesday is 14 February. There will be a service of Holy Communion with the Imposition of Ashes at 10.00 a.m. Following the service, the church will remain open until 1.00 p.m. for private prayer, and for anyone who is unable to attend the service but would like to receive the sign of the cross in ash on their forehead (e.g. in your lunch hour).
