Sung Evensong, from the Book of Common Prayer, is one of the gems of traditional Anglican worship. Led by the choir, the rest of the congregation join in hymns, in singing the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, and in the chanted responses; and listen to readings from the Bible, a sung Psalm and Anthem, and a short sermon.
