The season of Lent reminds us of Christ's call to us to change the direction of our lives, to turn away from sin and to walk in the path of the Gospel. Repentance means constantly taking stock of our lives so that we can avoid becoming complacent. Even though we have been baptised, we are still inclined to sin. During the season of Lent we are called to have a change of heart and to put Christ's message at the forefront of our lives.
