About Us

We are one of four churches in the parish of Jarrow and Simonside with a friendly congregation, inclusive of all, and we look forward to welcoming you.

Children are welcome at all our services, and we have bags with books and soft toys which they might enjoy.

Built in 1970 as a multi-purpose community focused Church Centre, the buildings are in almost constant use by a wide range of community groups.  Since March 2020 St. Peter's church building has been closed due to restrictions around Covid 19 however we hold a parish Eucharist at St. Paul's Church on Sunday mornings at 10 am and recently began to Livestream a service on Tuesday mornings.
