St Barnabas' Church, Burnmoor

Welcome to St Barnabas' Church.

Our Eucharist service starts at 11am, followed by refreshments in the St Barnabas' Community Centre.

We are moving back into the Church building for all of our services. We still have heating problems in the Church, so dress warmly.

Every 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday is in St Barnabas' Church. 5th and joint Sunday services are held at 10am, in one of the four Churches in our Parish on a rotation.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Burnmoor is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Durham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Mark Willoughby on 07939447255 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Beth Miller on 07968034075. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
