The party started at 3pm with a warm welcome from George our non stipendiary vicar. He also provided  music spanning the decades of Charles' life. 39 people attended.  A Royal wordsearch started off the activities, followed by a Royal quiz which was very challenging!! Rounding off the activities was a Royal game of bingo which  was very interesting.  Instead of numbers the caller read out topics related to the Royals eg palaces , crowns etc. The winners won a small prize. 

It was then time for the magnificent buffet provided by all attending. There was a coronation cake with a photo of the king on top. The cake was cut by Anne and Ken. It was Anne's birthday and she was congratulated on her wonderful coronation hat. A toast was raised to the King and Queen followed by a rendition of the national anthem. George said a closing prayer and people continued to chat before leaving for home. A wonderful,  joyous occasion. As usual many helped in the setting up and clearing away. Thank you to all.
