Earth Hour is a worldwide movement to encourage positive environmental impact. We can show support for our planet by turning off all non-essential lights and unnecessary electrical devices for 1 hour from 8.30pm – 9.30pm on Saturday 26th March. You can find out more at www.earthhour.org

Just before 8.30pm There will be an introduction on Facebook if you are able to join us.

8.30pm All non-essential lights and electrical devices switched off (if you haven’t already). Feel free to pray as you wish. Take part in some/all of the prayer station activities linked to creation and the environment that can be completed at home with things you will probably have in your house already. Or silent prayer, perhaps focussing on Genesis 1:1-31 or the readings for Compline. See resources list and instructions below.

9.30pm Turn on your lights and electrical devices if you wish, or continue without them for as long as you like. Join us for Night Prayer using the words provided either on your own at home knowing that many others are praying the same words, or join us on Facebook where we will be live streaming Night Prayer.
