St Ninian's Church is a modern building and comes under the Diocese of Durham. It was built and dedicated in 1967 but not consecrated until 2007.
The walls display an array of wall hangings made by the congregation over the years. These depict a number of events in the Bible. Some have been made to celebrate various important days in the church calendar and are changed regularly to mark those occasions.
A ceiling mounted projector and a drop down screen are also available in Church.
There is a large entrance foyer between the Church on the right and the hall on the left. This area also has toilet facilities including a disabled toilet, notice board and a seating area where books and other information can be found.
The hall is large and tall and well lit with windows that look out onto a secluded garden. There are storage facilities off the hall and a large fully fitted kitchen.
Various groups hire the hall weekly :-pilates, Explorers and Scouts. The hall is hired out for various other events too.
At the front there is a large car park, disabled access and borders with shrubs and flowers alongside a large grassed area.
