Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue Address
Carlisle Street, Felling Felling, Gateshead, NE10 0HQ, United Kingdom
All are welcome to join us at our Christmas Eve Communion Service.
Take some time out of the busyness to reflect on the Real meaning of Christmas.
Tonight, heaven and earth meet.
Tonight, a backyard shed is holy ground.
Tonight, strangers gather as family.
We come to the feast table of God, as Christ’s invited friends, chosen and beloved.

If you have been here often, if the memory of this table stretches back through all your Christmases, you are welcome.
If you have been here rarely, if reverence for bread and wine is strange to you, you are welcome.
If you have much faith, or little, or wouldn’t know where to begin even if you wanted to believe, you are welcome here.
For Christ does not hold himself back from us, but boldly enters every heart.

Christ Church

The parish of Felling is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, (PSO). The Diocese of Durham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
For further information please use the 'Safeguarding at Christ Church' link on the left of the screen.
