We are pleased that AgeUK Gateshead are working in the local community at Christ Church Hall on Sunderland Road.

Set up in 1972, Age UK Gateshead is an independent local Charity. The team of staff and volunteers provide services or run activities for approximately 800 people per week. Providing services such as, information & advice, Dementia Day Centres, Day Centres, social groups, befriending, bereavement support and healthy lifestyle classes.

All of their services are supported by volunteers and without them the work wouldn't be possible.
There is a wide range of opportunities and they are always in need of more volunteers
