Church of England Diocese of Durham Billingham Wolviston: St Peter

Everyday faith

We want to support you as you seek to find and follow God in your everyday life. We gather on Sundays but most of us spend most of our time at work, at home, pursuing our hobbies and with our friends or family. Here you will find a story of how one person lives out their faith in their daily life, information about local gatherings and groups and links to digital journeys that people in our community are participating in online.

How we support you

We aim to address the issues of living out our Everyday Faith through everything we do in Billingham Team Parish.

  • Our preaching is down-to-earth, relevant and engaging - we don't talk at you, we open a conversation with you about your life, and your concerns.
  • As we worship together our prayers and praises are earthed in the life of faith.
  • Our work with children, schools and families is all geared to supporting the journey of faith, not just passing on abstract ideas.
  • Services like our 'Come and See' evening service are rooted in reality, and we aim to create more opportunities like that as we journey together.

What you can do

Through the Everyday Faith portal, the Church of England offers a range of reflections and prayer journeys to help people find and follow God in their daily life.
