St Peter's Wolviston

Until the early 20th Century, St Peter's and St Cuthbert's were the only churches in the area, but as the town of Billingham grew rapidly, new estates grew that now link the whole area. However, St Peter's remains in many ways a village church, serving the long-established village of Wolviston, but contributing energy and imagination to the Billingham Team Parish.

Form_1_Application_for_enrolment_church_electoral_roll_complete with parish name.pdf

Every few years we are required by law to prepare a new Parish Electoral Roll from scratch. This year - 2025 - is one of those years, so you will need to re-apply if you want to vote or stand at the elections at the Annual Meeting on 29th April!

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm across all our congregations and activities. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
