As we walk the journey through Holy Week, we look at the Passion Narrative from all sorts of angles and through all sorts of perspectives. Our main focus this year is on the perspective offered by St Mark in his gospel, but today we turn to that of St John - different and unique - and approach it through a simple reading by multiple voices.

St Cuthbert's Billingham

St Cuthbert's is the 'mother church' of Billingham - a church has stood on the site since Saxon times, and over the centuries the facilities have grown and changed to meet the faith and community needs of successive generations. As the ancient village grew into the modern town of Billingham, new churches were created and the parish gradually divided. Today, the parishes have reunited, and the church works together across the town once more, and St Cuthbert's reminds us where we came from.
