Some of our friendly hall users, local schools, our In Stitches group, and others, have all been putting their creativity into angels to decorate the Lady Chapel of St Aidan's. There will be Christmas trees too. We've no idea what it will be like, but to be honest, it will be what we make of it. Come along. Chill among the displays. Enjoy a non-alcoholic mulled drink and lebkuchen. Take time out in church to pray. Chat and socialise. Or just stop a while. And while you're there, we'll have craft materials so that you, too, can add your own angel. Who has been an angel in your life? Give it some thought, and come and make your mark.

St Cuthbert's Billingham

St Cuthbert's is the 'mother church' of Billingham - a church has stood on the site since Saxon times, and over the centuries the facilities have grown and changed to meet the faith and community needs of successive generations. As the ancient village grew into the modern town of Billingham, new churches were created and the parish gradually divided. Today, the parishes have reunited, and the church works together across the town once more, and St Cuthbert's reminds us where we came from.
