The Chatterbox Cafe is located in the market square just across from the church
A co-op food store is located in the market square just across rom the church.
For 2018 the opening hours are:- Saturdays and Wednesdays from 10 am to 4 pm beginning 31st March and ending 22nd August.
Other Features
Food Bank
The Food Bank in Stanhope on Tuesdays from 12 - 1pm aims to help people in the Upper Dale. Donations of food and toiletries are coming in nicely - there are boxes in the Co-ops and in all the churches.
We do need help with referrals; people are naturally shy about coming to collect food in person but are happy to receive a bag of food at home.
If you know of anyone, young or old, who is finding it difficult to make ends meet, for whatever reason, and who would welcome a bag of food and toiletries, please let us know.
