As the Church of England parish church for the parish of Sockburn (covering Girsby, Over Dinsdale and the Sockburn Peninsula), we are seeking to know God’s love in Jesus Christ and to share God’s love with those around us.

As part of the Riverside Parishes, we are linked with the churches of St George and St Laurence, Middleton St George, All Saints, Hurworth, and St John the Baptist, Low Dinsdale.

What's on

Riverside Early Communion (BCP)

Occurring: In January, February, March, April, May, June, July, September, October, November, December. Every First Sunday at 9 a.m. for 45 mins
Venue: All Saints Church, Girsby (Sockburn)
Address

A service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer, with hymns and a sermon.

(From May onwards, our monthly communion service will usually be on the 2nd Sunday at the later time of 11.15am.)

Riverside Early Communion usually takes place:

1st Sunday: 9am at All Saints, Girsby (Sockburn) [not in August]
2nd Sunday: 8am at All Saints, Hurworth
3rd Sunday: 9am at St John the Baptist, Low Dinsdale
4th and 5th Sunday: 8am at All Saints, Hurworth
