Annual meeting of parishioners for the appointment of churchwardens, and annual parochial church meeting (APCM).

The meeting will take place immediately after the 10am service.

This year we need to prepare a new electoral roll from scratch. Anyone who would like to be on the electoral roll must submit a form by Sunday 2 March. Please get in touch for more details.

St George and St Laurence's Church, Middleton St George

St George & St Laurence's Church is a lively and welcoming Anglican church in the Diocese of Durham. Our regular Sunday worship is held every week at the village school - St George's CE Academy, Neasham Road, Middleton St George. Currently, the services start at 10am every Sunday, but from May 2025, the time will be changing to 9.15am.

Special services and occasional offices are held in the ancient church of St George, Low Middleton.

We are called to serve our community and the world, to care for and respect one another. We are here for all, regardless of any distinction, called to be the church in this place.

Together we worship, we learn, we have fun and we are committed to following Jesus.

As part of the Riverside Parishes, we are linked with the churches of All Saints, Hurworth, All Saints, Girsby (Sockburn), and St John the Baptist, Low Dinsdale.

Our parish of Middleton St George is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
