Safeguarding

The Parochial Church Council of All Saints, Hurworth, is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for everyone, especially for children, young people and vulnerable adults. It has as safeguarding policy statement (attached), and has adopted the Durham Diocesan Safeguarding Policy, which is in turn based on the policy statement of the Church of England, Promoting a Safer Church. This policy deals with all aspects of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
