There is a strong demand for places at the Refuge especially due to the additional streeses of Covid and job losses.

A  typical arrival will have only the clothes they are wearing, or only a small suitcase, as often they have fled an abusive home in the night with their children. There is always a need for toiletries, kitchen equipment, cleaning materials , toilet rolls and other items.
