Welcome to this "A church near you" page for St. Andrew's, Haughton Le Skerne on the outskirts of Darlington, County Durham. We hope you will find the information you seek here, but our webpage at https://www.standrewshaughton.org.uk contains much more information about the life and work of the church.
Regular updates are available on our Facebook page, and our main Sunday worship at 10 am is broadcast most Sunday mornings which can be viewed on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@st.andrewschurchhaughtonle2118/streams). We also have an active WhatsApp self-help group to keep folks in touch.
The parish of Haughton-le-Skerne is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Durham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. For a full statement on our church safeguarding policy please see the relevant page on our website.
