St. Andrew's lies at the western end of Haughton Green within the village.
Haughton Le Skerne lies on the main road to Stockton moving North East out of Darlington. Take the B6279 out of Darlington and then follow signs for "Haughton Road".
The Arriva bus services 9 and 10 from Darlington town centre come to the village. Service 9 stops outside the church. Service 10 about 200 yards away.
Darlington lies just to the east of the A1(M) motorway which gives excellent links to the rest of the country. From the South take the A66(M), junction 57 into the town. From the North take the A167, junction 59 into the town.
Darlington is on the main East Coast Railway line and has an excellent railway station.
Darlington is just 5 miles from Teesside international airport, which has three flights a day to Amsterdam and connections to the world, as well as some internal flights around the UK.
