About Us
St Andrew's is part of the family of the Church of England, based in Haughton-le-Skerne in the open evangelical tradition. Haughton is an ancient village, which is now part of Darlington, a town with an exciting and vibrant life in the north east of England. We seek to serve our local community, and also welcome Christians from further afield.
On Sundays we meet regularily in the morning at 10:00am but see our website for current information.
Times of any afternoon or evening services vary. Full details availble on our website.
Our worship brings together contemporary music and the treasures of previous generations. We thoughtfully explore how the Bible's wisdom can address the challenges of our time.
St Andrew's offers worship for people of all ages. St Andrew's on the Green is the oldest Church in Darlington. It was built around 1125 out of the ruins of an older Saxon Church. It has been at the heart of the community for more than a thousand years. Our church aspires to be forward thinking, ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We aim to be relevant to all of today's people in the community.
Our hope is that as you browse this site you will find ways in which you might want to connect with St Andrew's and help us to deepen our connections with all the people around us.
