Our Curate, Gordon, is to be ordained Priest by the Bishop of Jarrow, Rt Revd Sarah Clark, on June 29th at 4pm in Durham Cathedral. All are welcome to attend. If you can't make it, it will be livestreamed on the Cathedral YouTube channel.Gordon's first mass will be on June 30th at 11am, here at St Matthew and St Luke's.
On 21st May, All Saint's Blackwell Community Choir are holding a concert in church to raise money for St Matthew and St Luke's. Doors open from about 6:30 with the concert starting at 7pm. Entry is via donation, with refreshments and raffle tickets available to buy
