We're delighted to be hosting a FREE Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Monday, 21st April, from 2-4.30pm.

Alongside the Easter egg hunt, the 'Puppet Pals' will be making an appearance, plus there will be stalls, refreshments and afternoon teas available.

Car parking is limited on the church drive, but Whitworth Hall have kindly given access to use their car park which can be accessed at the next right after the church, if coming from Spennymoor.

Welcome to the parish church of Whitworth, located next to the grounds of the Whitworth Park Estate on the outskirts of Spennymoor.

Steeped in history, Whitworth Church includes a crypt beneath the floor where members of the local Shafto family were were laid to rest.
