We're delighted to be hosting a musical concert on Saturday 12th October at 2:30pm.

The concert, in aid of church funds, will feature soprano Margaret Williams, Averre Graham on the oboe and pianist and former director of music at St Paul’s Spennymoor, Sue Amos.

Tickets are £5 and include refreshments and are available from June on 07500 425043.

Parking is available on the church drive (off Stanner's Lane DL16 7QX), or continue to the next opening on the right towards Page Bank and use the car park at Whitworth Hall.

Welcome to the parish church of Whitworth, located next to the grounds of the Whitworth Park Estate on the outskirts of Spennymoor.

Steeped in history, Whitworth Church includes a crypt beneath the floor where members of the local Shafto family were were laid to rest.
