'Soldiers at the tomb'

This year’s theme for the Holy Week meditations is ‘The Burial of Jesus’. It’s a lesser thought upon aspect of the first Easter but a really important event. It meant that Jesus was really dead.

But what did it mean to those who were there in that moment?

- Those who also died alongside Jesus
- The women who followed him
- Joseph of Arimathea who gave him his tomb
- The soldiers that guarded the tomb

From Monday to Wednesday during Holy Week we will meditate upon these experiences.
