Welcome to our church near you site. We are the Church of England Parish church for Shildon, County Durham. Below will give you a flavour of our church to find out more please go to our website.
Our Sunday morning worship is a service of Holy Communion at 10am
On the third Sunday of the month we have an all age service where everyone stays together through the service.
At all other Sundays from we have a Sunday School/ Explorers' group for 5 - 11's which have their own activities for part of the service. There is also an unsupervised creche area.
We continue to do Evening Prayer on Zoom each week at 6pm. This can also be accessed on a normal telephone line. You will need to email Revd Carol for a Zoom invitation [email protected]
On Mondays we have Morning Prayer at 9am with the opportunity to pray about the week ahead.
On Thursdays we have a Holy Communion service at 11am followed by refreshments.
On the First Sunday of the month at 6pm we have a more informal service with contemporary worship, and someone talking about their faith journey.

Bookings for a christening/baptism can be made at the end of each baptism preparation evening. This takes place in church each month - see website for upcoming dates.
