Opening
The Church is open to view by arrangement - please contact Edward Gunn at [email protected] or by phone on 07926 086 537. Alternatively the church is open for services on Monday and Tuesday morning from 9am and Friday at 6pm. The church is also open for choir practice on a Wednesday from 6.30pm. In addition the church is open on Friday from 5.30pm for enquiries into Baptism and Weddings.
Getting here
The church is situated not far off the A1 at the junction with the A177 (Durham Road). The Church has a car park which we ask you to use, if you have to park on the road side we ask you to park with consideration to our neighbours.
The Church is also served by regular busses. Route numbers 57, 57a, 58, 58a, 59 and X12 stop at or near the church, details of these bus times can be found at Arriva North East or from Durham Councils Interactive Public Transport map. 56 and X12 is the only one that runs on a Sunday.
There is a very active programme of social and fundraising events: fairs, quizzes, suppers etc., normally once a month at which all are welcome. The church hall is available for hire for one off or regular functions normally at £11 per hour. For further details please contact Edward Gunn on 07926 086537.
Bookings for Baptisms, Marriages, Banns etc. can normally be made at church on a FRIDAY 5.30PM-6PM.
