Ash Wednesday

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Holy Trinity
Address
The Paddock Seaton Carew, TS25 1BX, United Kingdom

All are welcome to the Ash Wednesday service. It marks the start of our Lent journey. The ash comes from Palm crosses which have been blessed on Palm Sunday and then burnt. The sign of the cross is made on our foreheads to remember that 'we are but dust and to dust we shall return' (Genesis 3:19), a reminder of the journey of God's creation. ✝️🙏
