St James has its own church hall, which is a shared community facility, on the main road leading through the village.

The hall has recently benefited from a considerable amount of upgrading work and provides an excellent space for a variety of uses.

Regular users include the Burnopfield Scouts and Cubs, St James Mother's Union, the local group of quilters, and a variety of exercise classes.

The hall is also the venue for the weekly Coffee Morning, every Friday from 10.30am to 12noon each Friday 

As well as regular functions, we also take bookings for one-off events, such as children's parties, at a hire fee of £50.

The hall is the venue for church fund-raising events, including the summer and Christmas fairs, and is also used for a variety of social events.
