We celebrated Candlemas in church this Sunday, in recognition of Jesus' presentation in the temple.As usual for the first week of the month, there will be a service of Morning Prayer in church this Thursday, February 1, at 9.45am. We are also starting our preparations for Lent, which this year is from February 14 to March 28. St James Church is running a Lent course based on discussions around extracts from the film 'I, Daniel Blake'.
