Our midsummer evening concert proved as big success, with everyone enjoying the fine voices of the Argus Singe. Our midsummer evening concert is today, June 21, in the church hall. Doors open 6.30pm, concert starts at 7pm. Wine, nibbles and a raffle. Tickets £8 payable on the door.Then on Sunday, June 23, the ever-popular Cafe Church is back. Also held in the hall, this is a more informal type of service which starts at 11am. Refreshments are served up until 10.45am.
As the first Thursday of the month is coming up, we will have our regular monthly service of Morning Prayer in church at 9.45am. This is a lovely, relaxed service followed by refreshments.And coming up next Sunday, as well as our normal Eucharist at 11am, there will be Messy Church in the hall on Sunday afternoon.Another date for the diary is our Midsummer Concert with the Argus Singers in the church hall on June 21 at 7pm. The Argus Singers always provide an excellent evening's entertainment. Tickets £8 still available.
