The World Day of Prayer is an annual multi-faith event which involves readings and prayers inspired by a specific theme.

This year St James Church is the host for our area's groups of ecumenical churches.

The theme this year is inspired by Jeremiah 19: 'I know the plans I have for you.'

The overarching theme is HOPE and the focus is on England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

All are welcome to attend the event, which is on Friday, March 4 at 1.30pm.
