Our parish of Hawthorn is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We have adopted the National Safeguarding Standards, follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies, and also have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Dr Chris Carr. All parish staff and officers are trained in safeguarding, and have completed DBS checks.
