Our Heritage & Open Days

Heritage Open Day is England's largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,000 local people and organisations, and thousands of volunteers. Every year in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.

Heritage Open Days for 2024 are 6-15th September. Keep watching for dates of when we will be opening the church for the Heritage Open Day also when we hold various events throughout the year.  So why not come along to enjoy and celebrate the history of our ancient Church which dates back to 1155.
