St. James’ Church is situated down a quiet lane by the banks of the Trent and close to the famous and historic Swarkestone Bridge.

We are a small but welcoming and friendly congregation. Visitors are always welcome at any of our services and to join us for coffee and chat afterwards.

Christmas Carols by Candlelight

Come and start the Christmas season off with our always popular Carol Service. Melbourne Town Band will be leading us once again. Join us in singing favourite carols and hearing the Christmas story. Then enjoy a chat with friends old and new over a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie afterwards. See you there!
