Church for children and adults involving play, creativity, celebration, food and hospitality. It rarely happens on a Sunday and it is very relaxed and easy going.

A said and reflective Holy Communion Service which is a good way to start the day. Visitors always welcome.

This is the main Sunday Service with Holy Communion and singing led by the church choir. There is a creche area and Junior Church for primary age children. Please ask one of the sides people or clergy for more details when you arrive at the church.

The bells will also be rung for 25 minutes before the service, and visiting ringers are most welcome.

There are toilet and nappy changing facilities in St. Michael's House, which can be accessed to the right of the white garage doors diagonally opposite the south door of the church.

Pre-school aged children and their carers are welcome to join us in the church on the first and third Wednesdays during term time between 9 am and 11 am.

After a drink and a time of free play with a great range of toys, everybody comes together for some songs, a bible story and a prayer.

Snack time next and then more play, with a variety of craft activities for the older children.

We have chosen the Church of England's Lent Journey LIVING IN HOPE for our Lent Study Group in 2025.

There will be five sessions, all at Ticknall Church, with the dates and themes shown below.

Sessions will be for one hour starting at 11.00 am.
