Alpha is a fun and easy way to explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all.

Our taster evening will be on Tuesday 24th September at 7.30pm at St. Edmund’s Church, Sinfin Ave. We will finish by 9.15pm. Cake and drinks will be provided.

Everyone’s welcome, no matter your background or beliefs. It’s free and there’s no pressure to come back.

St Edmund’s church is part of a revitalisation project in the Diocese of Derby and was "re-launched" in September 2023. St Edmund’s church has been at the heart of the Shelton Lock and Allenton community for generations. We’re hoping to honour all that has come before and to continue playing our part in serving this community. Whether you’re non-religious, a little bit curious, or wanting to get stuck right in, everyone is invited to come and find community here at St. Ed’s church.
