We intentionally create a relaxed and low-pressured atmosphere and no question is off limit. People from all kinds of backgrounds do Alpha; some with lots of knowledge and also people who are brand new to it all. Everyone is welcome.

St Edmund’s church is part of a revitalisation project in the Diocese of Derby and was "re-launched" in September 2023. St Edmund’s church has been at the heart of the Shelton Lock and Allenton community for generations. We’re hoping to honour all that has come before and to continue playing our part in serving this community. Whether you’re non-religious, a little bit curious, or wanting to get stuck right in, everyone is invited to come and find community here at St. Ed’s church.

The parish of Allenton & Shelton Lock: St Edmund is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
